Our panel loved the dark wood and dowel sides, and it's sturdy enough to be used until your baby turns toddler. It also meets British safety standards. The depth is not enough to ensure that your child can climb out and the distance between slats must not be more than 65mm. This should prevent their heads from becoming stuck. It's important to keep in mind that you'll need purchase a mattress separately and that's an extra PS88.

This cot stands out due to of its sleigh-shaped design. It's also very easy to get your baby inside and out of it, which is an enormous benefit. It's slightly more expensive than other cot beds, however our panel felt it was worth the extra cost for its appearance and durability.

This cot bed is available in either country pine or walnut finishes. It is suitable from birth. It has three mattress heights to ensure that you can start off your child high to make it easier for them to use at night or during the day. Then lower it as they grow older. Silver Cross' westport design is another cot with a solid feel and is constructed to last. It can be used from birth as a cot, then as a toddler bed, and then a junior bed. (Toddler guard rails are sold separately). It was a little difficult for our panel to turn the crib into a bed, however, their other half said it was easy and took less than 5 minutes. It's also a tad more expensive than other cots, however it's a style you'd likely want to keep and use for your children as they grow older.
